A chest of winged and medical wonders!  This cherry wood box features lovely hardware and detailed trim dotted with copper.  The top features 12 copper streaked mosaic tiles, guaranteed to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.  Tiny images have been hand cut and individually placed to form a unique miniature collage atop each tile.  These pictures have a beautiful butterfly and antique medical/anatomical theme, including illustrations of antique surgical tools, skulls, and circulatory patterns of the human body.  Don't let this turn you off, as there's an undoubted romantic feel among the images; they form a beautiful and intriguing contrast with a wide variety of subjects.  The tiles are then finished with a thick layer of gloss for their protection and a flush, smooth surface.  Each side has a decorative wooden floral applique with copper centered detail to offset the hand painted top trip.  The box interior is lined with breathtaking poppies offset against typewritten parchment against the lid, and a faded floral pattern in the bottom.
