Guaranteed to be unlike anything you've seen - the masterpiece mosaic collage box in my collection.  A cherry stained box fit for holding all your keepsakes and treasures (if you dare cover the beautiful interior) hand-stained and outfitted with a lovely patterned trim border.  The front holds wooden floral appliques along with three mixed metal studs, sitting perfectly beneath the briefcase style closure.  The wood has been finished off with a layer of shiny glaze which enhances the color of the wood while adding extra protection.  The top of the box is its most glorious asset; 45 beautiful copper streaked mosaic tiles lie flush together, each holding a different miniature collage.  The images adorning these tiles have been tediously cut by hand and arranged to tell a story on each individual square.  They feature cheery poppies, pretty vintage pinup girls, and a variety of dated medical, surgical, and anatomical images.  The stark contrast encapsulated on each tiny tile demonstrates the epitome of my personal artistic taste; mixing beauty with darkness.  Cumulatively finished with a solid layer of glaze to protect and enhance the tiles while creating a flush surface.  The interior of the box is finished off with steampunk patterned paper along the lid, housing clocks, gears, an antique key, and a blank banner ready to be customized by the final owner.  The bottom is covered with a vintage floral poppy pattern, while the sides of the top and bottom hold stylized cursive notes.
